With the opening of our Materials Recycling Facility (MURF) at Silverwater in March 2009, we are now able to collect, process, recover and recycle most types of commercial waste and recyclables – mixed in the same clearly marked Bins & Equipment! Paper recycling, cardboard recycling, office recycling, office waste and all other waste collections in the same bin without the need to have different bins on site. One bin - one collection!

The material is collected and delivered to our MURF where we are successfully processing, recovering and recycling over 75% of all material received – most of this would have previously ended up in landfill! The material recovered and recycled is predominantly paper recycling, cardboard recycling, office recycling, office waste and other waste collections.
 
We are achieving excellent results in most industries recovering existing volumes of paper recycling, cardboard recycling, office recycling, office waste and other waste collections from current waste streams, and diverting them to our recovery facility. These industries include;

• Office buildings and retail outlets
• Schools and universities
• Hotels
• Shopping centres
• retirement villages
• Manufacturing and pharmaceutical companies
  

It is important to realize that a significant volume of paper recycling, cardboard recycling, office recycling, office waste and other waste collections are currently destined for landfill. Our mixed system addresses the problem and focuses on resource recovery.
