Materials recycling facility (MURF)
All collected Dry waste recycling material is sorted and separated into reusable materials. The material passes through a series of mechanical screens and separators and a team of sorters collects particular recyclables. The result is the collection of the following materials that are repackaged to be onsold and reused;
• Paper and cardboard
• Plastic films and hard plastics
• Containers (plastics, aluminium and steel cans, glass)
• E waste (computer and printers)
• Metals

Greater than 75% of all material processed is being being recycled and converted into reusable resources and diverted away from landfill.
